I am honored to be supporting Chicago Run for the second year in a row. The work they do empowers youth by using running as a tool to create friendships and deal with stress in a healthy manner.

Doubling down on the fundraising efforts, I volunteered at their spring fun run and am signed up for the fall fun run.  During these runs, students and families from the participating schools come out for a morning of running, dancing, games and even have fresh fruit and vegetables provided! 

Chicago Run's impact reaches beyond the immediate benefit of exercise.  Teachers from participating classrooms report students are more focused and better behaved during the day as well as having improved mental health and social skills.
