For my first ever marathon, I am raising money for Chicago Run - a non-profit organization that empowers thousands of young people across Chicago from Pre-K through high school with access to inclusive physcial activity programs. Chicago run parters with schools and community organizations to provide regular programming opportuntiies to promote improved academic performance, positive relationships, development of social-emotional skills, and growth in physical and mental health. This organization is special to me because of the values they embody in their work and play - thoughtful impact, curiosity, collaboration, equity, and health. Through the power of sport, together we can positively impact the lives of many!
