DON'T CALL IT A COMEBACK

After taking nearly 6.5 hours to complete the 2017 Chicago Marathon, I swore I'd never do it again. I told all my friends to keep me away from marathon registration pages and charity runner sign ups. And yet... 

So much has changed in our world since 2017, and the transformative power of running stays true. I've been rocking with Chicago Run since 2010, inspiring my first marathon as part of Team Chicago Run back in 2011 (then my second, third, fourth and fourth), and served on the Board of Directors since 2021. As Chicago Run's new Executive Director, I have an even deeper appreciation for the critical impact fundraising has on our capacity to deliver quality programming year after year. So I'm lacing back up for 26.2 --- no matter how long it takes me --- because every donation means creating more access to inclusive spaces for young people and communities to Run, Grow, Thrive!
